Description
My dad loves wrapping packages. He started doing it as a holiday job sixty years ago, back when he and my mom were newly married, just to earn a little extra money. Somewhere along the way, it turned into a genuine love. He doesn’t do it by halves. Perfect folds, lots of tape, every single time. He gets such a kick out of watching us try to peel through all that tape to get to whatever’s inside.
This quilt has that same wrapped-up feeling. Glowing tree panels tucked neatly into their own little frames, pieced blocks folding around them like corners on a perfectly wrapped gift.
