Description
Growing up in New York State, Troy was known as home to RPI, a top-notch engineering school. Several of my classmates ended up there. I went further afield, to CWRU, for the specific major I wanted.
Engineers thrive on detail, organization, and geometry. Every problem has a system, every system has a structure, and there’s real satisfaction in seeing all the pieces snap into place exactly where they belong. That mindset never really left me, even after I traded steel-toed shoes for fabric.
This quilt is basically an engineer’s fever dream. Precise 10″ tiles set on point, framed by clean solid triangles in celery, papaya, and terracotta. Simple, structured, and satisfying in exactly the way good geometry always is.
Finished Size: 59” x 73”
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Introduction: Solid color blocks surround each tile to make a modern quilt.
