Before quilting stole my heart, cross-stitch had it. My designer of choice was Lavender & Lace — I swear I bought every angel she ever released, and framed more than a few. There was something about the way she rendered that otherworldly, moonlit quality that just got me. The moment I saw this panel, I was right back there. That same ethereal pull, that same “I have to have this” feeling — except this time I get to build a quilt around her instead of a hoop.
Moonlit Lattice lets that fairy-in-the-moonlight panel do what it does best: hold your gaze. A strip-pieced lattice frame in soft golds and deep midnight blues steps out around her in perfect symmetry, giving the eye somewhere to rest without ever competing with her glow. Confident beginner friendly, but the result reads like something far more advanced.
