Description
Why is it when you turn a certain age that bird watching becomes a thing?? That was a meme I saw the other day and it is so true!
Of course, I was raised with bird watchers. So, my age was a few decades younger than most. I do love watching the birds though.
Several times a week, my neighbors and I walk around our neighborhood and enjoy the wildlife that migrates through Dover. Like most places in North America, we have plenty of Canada Geese! Yet, we are always fascinated to watch them fly in formation. They swoop around the neighborhood as they come in for a landing on our large pond. As we walk past, they honk and make quite a racket. We like them anyways. We also have herons, egrets, scoters, mallards, and probably a dozen other birds that frequent our little ponds.
