An Irish Blessing
May there always be work for your hands to do.
May your purse always hold a coin or two.
May the sun always shine upon your window pane.
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near to you and
May God fill your hear with gladness to cheer you.
I am working on this project this week. So far so good! There are two blocks – Rosebud (Aunt Martha series: The Quilt Fair Comes to You, ca. 1933) and modification of Irish Chain Quilt, Kansas City Star, Dec 13, 1944. I thought those two blocks not only worked well together but were representative of the day. As Soon as I get it put together, I will publish the pattern.
In the meantime, I wish you all good health and happiness.
Happy Quilting
Laureen
