On Day 2 of the Bling Tree, I started with a slightly larger button with four holes using matching thread. Then, using the same thread, I brought the needle up through one hole and threaded a gold seed bead on and pushed the needle down through the next hole. Alternating, I added three more beads. There were four gold seed beads, one between each hole. Then, I threaded the needle through the first bead, added a bead and threaded the needle through the second bead. I continued until the top of the button had eight beads. Once the beads were on, I knotted the thread and buried it in the batting.
I added a ring of gold seed beads, using matching ivory thread. When finished, I buried the knot in the batting. This is a very simple addition.
