On Day 16 of the Bling Tree, it was time to get a little bigger! I took a large button, large filigree bead and large cabochon bead for the center.
A string of pearl beads were added around the perimeter. Using two gold beads, one large bead and two gold beads at a time, a picot stitch was added as they second round of beading. Then, a third round of beading was added. To add the third row, the thread was passed through the large bead. Then, five gold seed beads were added. The thread was passed through the next large seed bead, and so on.
