On Day 13 of the Bling Tree, I made a variation of Day 9. A four-holed button was added with a neutral thread. Then, a gold filigree bead and burgundy bead were added to the center.
A ring of gold seed beads were added around the button. Then, a picot stitch was added. This picot stitch is a bit different from others. Thread through a seed bead. Then, add a gold seed bead with a pink bugle bead and a purple seed bead. The thread was pulled back through the bugle bead (the purple seed bead will keep it on). Then, add another seed bead. Thread through two beads in the ring and repeat.
One thing I learned from this – make sure you have enough room! I probably should have started a little to the left…
