On Day 10 of the Bling Tree, I decided to take a different tactic. Rather than going around the button, I decided to go over it. First, a two-hole button was added to the tree. Six gold seed beads were added at a time like spokes. Each time, the thread was brought up in the center and down to the sides. Then, a small gold filigree bead was added with a larger red seed bead to hide the buttonholes. Finish by threading through the first bead, knot the thread and bury it in the batting.
