I am continuing my individual theme of nutcrackers. Do you like them do far??
Because I have a collection of nutcrackers and have been itching to turn them into quilt blocks.
Quilt Block Mania requires that we use 12″ blocks. However, I want to do something a little different. My blocks are still 12-inches but are easily adapted to 6″ x 12″ blocks.
Of course, you can make the blocks bigger if you really, really like nutcrackers!
You can collect them all year to make a Nutcracker quilt, runner or a bunch of mini-quilts. The use is up to you.
When Carolina picked the topic of Fancy Drink, I was torn between having my nutcracker relaxing on the beach or standing behind the bar…. There were a few more options with the bartender, so here he is!!
You can embellish the fancy drinks in any way you want. Maybe a little metallic thread for salt on a margarita. Or a few beads for olives in a martini. Add a logo for your favorite bar to the visor or apron? Just giving you some food for thought!
This is the time to raid your scrap bin, your notions drawers and have a little fun.

Hi Laureen, unfortunately I did not receive an email on Tuesday with the instructions for the Nutcracker / March. I would be very happy if you could send me an instruction.I love your Nutcrackers.Two are already sewn. It would be so nice if it worked. I hope 🙂
