Halloween has always run a close second to Christmas in my house, and when my oldest was little, his birthday landed right in its shadow — so we just combined the two. We turned the yard and porch into a haunted house for his friends, and I pulled out the witch costume every year to trick-or-treat alongside the kids while my parents held down candy duty back home. Before the big night, we’d load up the cousins for a pumpkin patch day: games, cider, and a carving party that got a little more chaotic every year. This one’s for those nights.

Witch’s Whimsy is the newest member of our Whimsy Series, and it might be the most fun yet.
