Sometimes, I am just a little tired of feeling square. As quilters we so often gravitate toward squares. Maybe that is because most of our rulers are square. Maybe it is because they are easy to make.
But there are times when the fabric just will not fit easily into a square! Such was the case for Dear Stella’s Curious Garden collection. For two of the fabrics, the motifs were actually diamond shaped.
So, I decided to go with the flow and create a quilt with diamonds to accommodate the fabric. Diamond Days is a nine patch quilt that uses diamonds. Templates make it easy to put together.
