Description
Do you ever have a moment when something you have seen a hundred times all of the sudden looks different to you?
When I was creating this runner, I wanted a simple design that would highlight the amazing fabrics. Maybe it was the brush strokes in the fabric, I am not sure. But the design reminded me of roof gables.
Gables are where the triangular peaks on roofs. They are particularly noticeable when they pop out of a roof for a window.
Why that all of the sudden popped into my head, who knows! Then, of course, I couldn’t stop with the association… House of Seven Gables, Anne of Green Gables… Yup I started down the rabbit hole.
Hopefully, this pattern will inspire your creativity – and word association!
