Putting two blocks together to create a secondary design is one of my favorite types of designs. It lets two simpler blocks really shine through the secondary pattern.
For “Block of Ages”. the continuity of one fabric in both blocks blurs the line between the blocks. Meanwhile, the different colored corners, creates a secondary design.
Corners are added in two different ways to help you perfect your piecing.
