Beautiful pattern, but is an advanced pattern, not intermediate. I’ve spent nearly $500 on fabric. No matter what I do, no matter how many times I measure and re-measure, I can’t get the medallion to lay flat. It’s not just a bit wavy that it would quilt out. It is extremely wavy. Extremely disappointed.

Updating my review. Moments after I posted my first review, I received an email from Laureen, the pattern designer, asking if she could help. I emailed her pictures and she saw the problem immediately. I needed to take in the seams of pattern pieces C and E, starting with two. Well, I ended up doing all the seams, taking them in 1/8”. I realized the problem was caused by my making acrylic templates to fussy cut these pieces. I’m very grateful to Laureen for the help. If you have any problems, contact her by the link on the site.
