Description
Most people don’t realize that not all plants sleep during winter. Even under snow, some flowers start to push their way into the light—snowdrops, Christmas rose (hellebores), witch hazel, and even crocuses. It’s always surprising to see them peeking through as the snow begins to melt.
I wanted this second block to reflect those early winter blossoms while still holding onto the snowflake-inspired structure that anchors the Winter Whispers collection. Frozen Flowers finishes at 12″, making it easy to use as a stand-alone block or as part of a larger seasonal project. It works beautifully in pillows, runners, medallions, and sampler-style quilts, and was designed to integrate seamlessly with the rest of the collection.
