On Day 17 of the Bling Tree, I wanted to do something a little different, a bit more modern. I added light pink button with a white one on top of it. Then, a gold sequin and pink bead were placed on top of it.
Around the perimeter of the button, I sewed on a 1/8-th inch pink ribbon. While sewing it on, each time the needle was brought up in the middle of the ribbon, a gold bead was added. The ribbon was folded under at the beginning and end to hide the raw edges. This gave a studded appearance.
