Trust Yourself with Color! Do you doubt yourself when selecting colors? If you do, pick a photo you like, find the pleasing colors in it. Then, match those colors to fabric. You can then translate those colors into a quilt!
I recommend finding a large solid/blender collection to use as your base. I picked Hoffman’s 1895 collection.
There are those perfect days to take photographs. I was able to take this picture of my old weeping crabapple tree. The pinks were so beautiful. It is no secret that I really love pinks. I decided to use it for today’s color palette. Then, I took those colors and put them into my Chilly Corners quilt. I need an extra color for the cornerstones. I grabbed Hoffman Dots 885-H12 Hot Pink. Do you like the effect?
