Confetti Whimsy

What is a celebration without confetti and streamers? Ok neat people, easier to clean up is not the answer I was looking for…  Confetti and streamers are synonymous with New Years Eve, parades, weddings, and parties of all sorts. Who doesn’t love the glittery stuff floating down on guests while they smile with delight? Again, neat people, now is not the time to burst our fun bubble with grumbling about cleaning it up. Confetti is fun, whimsical, and brings out our inner child. I think we need a little more glee and childlike amusement now more than ever. We need a happiness booster and confetti is a good start.

When Timeless Treasures introduced the Confetti collection, it called for a whimsical and cheerful design suited to the fabrics and colors. The fabric was perfect for another in the Whimsy series. This Whimsy quilt has a burst of colors like fireworks or an explosion of confetti. Confetti Whimsy includes the Whimsy Wheel, which does not require any curved piecing – honestly! It also has plenty of fusible appliqued “confetti” pieces. These can be embellished with some crystals, beads, sequins, sparkly thread, or other notions to really make them shine.
