Imagine walking along a pebbled beach, the waves are rolling in. The pebbles move and shift as the water runs back and forth over them. The colors ripple as the surface moves with the waves.
The sight of the water rolling and the sound of the waves lapping the shore have always been soothing for me.
That was the image in my mind, when I saw the “Boardwalk Dreams” collection by Banyan Batiks. The colors were perfect for that pebbled effect.
I used their gradient print and the amazing colors to create the feel of a beach in my pattern “Ripples in the Sand”. This throw has two colorways to suit your taste.
