When I was in middle school, we moved to the country. My best friend lived on the Fuller Farm and occasionally we would help out. We learned that farm life is a combination of routine, hard work and patience. If you paid attention, there was beauty everywhere.
When Hoffman sent me the swatches for Farm to Table, I wanted to create a quilt that reflected youth. It needed to be both simple and include the beautiful farm prints.
This quilt is strip pieced and features fussy cut fabric. It finishes 61″ x 76″.
This quilt pattern is like that balance. Enough complexity to make it interesting. But simple enough so it is a joy to make.
