People often ask whether I pick fabric to go with the design or if I design around the fabric. The answer is that it depends.
Timeless Treasures sent me this delightful fabric with a chicken theme “Spring Chicken”. This fabric definitely led to this design. I wanted a fun fusible design for this fabric. I also wanted it to be something personal.
Every family gathering, someone was designated to bring the deviled eggs. Our special recipe is dijon mustard, mayo, rice vinegar, shallots, and paprika.
This fun runner came together in a day. I was able to fuse it together and quilt it in a day.
