Never Forget has been a labor of love. The design was inspired a year ago. Next, I need to figure out how to assemble it in the easiest way possible. That took some noodling and some research. The methods finally gelled and I started putting it together a month ago…

Then, I had a request for 10 patterns. That was fantastic, but interrupted my piecing time. I had planned to have the piecing done by 9/11 and spend the next year heirloom quilting…

At any rate, it is over half pieced, with sixty-two eight-pointed stars to complete and a New York Beauty border to start. My next goal is the end of the month. We will see if I can hit that.

Happy Quilting!
