Frosty Fox in Dear Stella’s Frosty Forage Fabric

Our neighborhood abut a nature preserve, so we have lots of furry creatures roaming around. Some of them you only see after dusk or around dawn, like the bears, coyotes, raccoons, and deer. Others venture out during the day such as beavers, rabbits and fox. I love living on the edge of nature. Frosty Fox brings a bit of that nature inside.

If you are comfortable with foundation piecing, the quilt can be assembled in a weekend. If you like quilt retreats, this would be a great project to take along with you!

The finished quilt measures 50″ x 50,” which makes it a good size for a wall hanging, lap quilt or table topper. Fabric requirements and instructions are provided for Dear Stella’s “Frosty Forage” fabrics.  The critters on this fabric are simply adorable and were the inspiration behind the central fox block. The economy blocks in the border highlight these critter, giving each their own little spotlight. Fussy cut the ones you like best.

Frosty Fox from stash

When I tested this quilt pattern, the fabric wasn’t available yet. So I dove into my stash. Here is Frosty Fox from my stash! He is waiting to be quilted. That will be fun!

Now, that the fabric is available in quilt shops, I hope you enjoy Frosty Fox as much as I did. The Frosty Fox pattern is available from our shop and some local quilt shops.

Happy Quilting!
